I'm free... I'm free at last!

Since Friday, I have been working my bains out on my 8 page paper on Taoism. It was hell... but at least I did some fun since Friday. Me and Effy went to the cinema to watch National Treasure *actually we wanted to watch Ocean 12, no ticket maah* on Friday and we ate at Mandarin Buffet. hahaha... It was a creepy restaurant. I saw kaki katak goreng! yuckkss... The food was eeeemmm... ok, i guess... but I don't recommend for anybody to go there. Please don't!

The next day, out of boredom and hunger, I decided to try Olive Garden for the first time. So, out of the blue, I asked Effy if she would come with me for lunch. Gladly, she said yes. I was so excited. Once we got there, I was soooo impressed with the interior design of the restaurant. Aaaahhh.... I feel like I'm in Italy... haha... and suddenly I remembered Epcot, somehow... The food was great!!! It was funny to see Effy trying to finish her Ceasar Salad *sorry Effy, I just have to mention it*. We really did have a great time, thanks to our waiter, Trevor~uu.. so handsome one... Afterwards, due to our boredom, we went again to the cinema and this time we watched Oceans 12. It was a really nice movie, but not so much cleaver than the Ocean 11. But how can you resist the gorgeous man on the screen right? Need to see them... Need to see them... Need to see them... ummm.... Need to see them.... Alright, enough Ina!

Finally, here comes Monday. Finished my paper at about 9am, just about the time the first snow touched down in Bloomington. Was so cold outside... under 0 celcius.. brrrrrr... Due to the cold weather, I decided to drive my car to send the Taoism paper to Sycamore Hall. Once I got there, as usual, no parking spot. I thought it would just take about 5 minutes to send the paper up to the second floor, so I guess there is no harm to put my car in front of the building and left it there. When I just about to get into Sycamore Hall, I saw a red van with a yellow plate cruising into the parking lot. Darn it! It's the parking operation lady!!! Without any stretching, I ran as fast as I can to the office, left my paper there, and dashed to my car. I hope the parking operation lady wouldn't make it to my car. And yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a success! I got into my car just in time the lady cruising next to mine. uhuhuhuhuhu... that was a close one. No parking ticket for me, not today :)

On my way back to Campus View, I saw Effy walking in the snow. She did look sick. I thought I heard her barfing in the bathroom just about the time I went out on my escapade. Well, it was all true. She was sick... and she needed food. We went all the way to Kroger to buy some stuff and come back home. Hope she feels ok by now...
